Safety
Have a blast — safely
A great show is a safe show. Run through these before you light the first fuse. For more, see the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's fireworks safety center.
No Delta Boom fireworks are designed to be handheld. Handle safely and use at your own risk. Read our Liability Disclaimer.
Know your local lawsFireworks rules differ from city to city and county to county. Check your local ordinance for what's allowed, and when, before your show.
Adults onlyOnly adults 18+ should buy and light fireworks. Never let children handle or ignite fireworks — even sparklers need close adult supervision.
Read every labelRead the directions and warnings on each item before the show, in daylight, so you know how it works.
Pick a safe launch siteSet fireworks on a flat, hard, level surface in a clear open area — away from houses, cars, trees, dry grass and anything that can burn.
Keep water readyHave a garden hose or a full bucket of water nearby before you light anything.
Light one at a timeLight one device at a time, never lean over it, then move back quickly to a safe distance.
Never relight a dudIf something doesn't go off, don't approach it right away or try to relight it. Wait at least 20 minutes, then soak it in water.
Never aim at peopleNever point or throw fireworks at anyone, and never shoot them from your hand or inside a metal or glass container.
Artillery shellsUse the launch tube on a stable base, load shells as the label directs, and never put any part of your body over the tube.
Soak before trashingDouse spent fireworks with plenty of water before throwing them away.
Protect petsKeep pets indoors and away from the noise during your show.
Stay sharpWear eye protection when lighting and don't handle fireworks after drinking alcohol.
